Hammill Family Play Zoo
The Hammill
Family Play Zoo is a new addition to the zoo this year. Basically its
an area for kids to play and learn about animals and pet things. Its like
a petting zoo but bigger and more fun. We both thought this whole thing
was really great. Easily the best part were the beautiful lemurs!
So pretty and nice! There are lot of lemur pictures. There was also this
area where you would lift up these wood lids and see what bugs are living
in the ground, but there were no bugs out this day because it was too hot.
We also got to pet an armadillo, which for some insane reason I didn't get
a picture of. Around the edges of the building were these play areas where
you could, for instance, pretend you were a vet and bandage up stuffed
animals. Poor fox. All in all we had a ton of fun in the play zoo.
